WWE women performers are about to make history during the Royal Rumble event 2018 where they will compete in the first-ever Women’s Rumble match. The rumours of the same were there for quite sometimes with the ongoing Women’s Evolution that helped the female superstars to break the barriers with the men’s division.
They have competed in several gimmick matches in recent times and will be a part of history by virtue of this announcement which came from the WWE Raw commissioner, Stephanie McMahon. She confirmed there will be indeed a history-making match where the winner will get a ticket to compete in the Women’s Championship match at Wrestlemania.
The rules and participants of the Rumble match were declared in the recent past. But, the social media sites have been flooded with reactions around the announcement of the match. Several pro-wrestling female stars let their expressions know about this path-breaking match with some even willing to enter in this revolutionary matchup that might allow the female superstars to be the main event of Wrestlemania, at one point.

Michelle McCool was one of them who intended to do the same by entering the Royal Rumble match. As per her previously posted tweet, January 25th was her birthday and she wants to have the treat to throw herself into the mix of the current generation of WWE female superstars and making a grand return.
It is to be noted that previously, McCool had teased a comeback to the WWE ring for one last stint by having a friendly banter with Charlotte Flair on Twitter. The Queen had invited her to a dream match which was accepted. Later, the former Women’s and Divas Champion also clarified that she was waiting for a phone call to get back onboard in the WWE indicating the comeback.
There’s NOTHING @WWE women cannot do. It’s been a long-time coming – can’t wait for the FIRST EVER WOMENS #RoyalRumble! Now…where dem boots?

It is also to be noted that Michelle McCool is not the only one who is interested to make a return. Trish Stratus also wanted the same, as well. Considering this is going to be the first-ever Rumble match for the women’s, WWE will try to make this rumble a memorable affair. So, we certainly can expect some of these returns to make the evening even grander.
