WWE News: Former WWE Superstar Gets Heat For Racist Comments On Jinder Mahal 1

WWE perhaps made the big decision of making Jinder Mahal the WWE champion with a purpose of garnering the spotlight towards them.

So far, their motive is more than successful. Be it, booing from the USA fans or cheering from the Indian audience, everybody is talking about The Maharaja upsetting The Viper at Backlash.

It is certain that there will be a number of hardcore US wrestling fans who are not at all happy with this move. They just can’t take the fact that a nobody from the roster has pinned the 13-time world champion, Randy Orton to pick up the WWE championship from him. While it indicates, WWE creative’s faith on Jinder Mahal, there are plenty of negative comments flying in.

Former WWE superstar Virgil appeared to be one of them. In case you have forgotten, he used to appear in a non-wrestling role for the million-dollar man, Ted Dibiase. He used to act as the bodyguard of the richest man back in the 90s. Once his stint was over in the WWE, he spent some times on the independent circuit before finally retiring in 2013.

Virgil made a nasty comment on Jinder Mahal after he defeated Orton at Backlash. He was tweeting live during the ongoing match at Backlash main event and could not resist his rage towards the new champion seeing the conclusion of the match.

“I swear I just saw Jinder Mahal get me a Slurpee at 7-11 #wwebacklash”

The tweet made towards Jinder was a racist joke and it did not sit well with the wrestling fans. They replied him back with their own comments. Virgil may realise his mistake and he deleted the post, afterwards.

Meanwhile, there’s no stopping for Mahal’s push on Smackdown Live. After achieving the biggest prize in the WWE, his pals, the Singh Brothers are looking forward to entering the Smackdown tag team division. When asked about their future, Jinder gave a positive nod by commenting:

“Yeah, absolutely. That’s their goal. I think, whether it’s RAW or SmackDown, down the line they will be in the tag-team division. They’re a great tag-team and I wish nothing but the best for them. However, I need them right now to watch my back and to ensure that I stay WWE Champion but I’m sure there will be a day when they’ll be in the tag division.”
