Before the Elimination Chamber PPV event, John Cena pointed out he needs to win this year’s contender’s match, the most.
The reason behind that was if he loses then for the first time in his 15-year long career, he will not have a Road to Wrestlemania, which is hard to believe. Later, the match was won by Roman Reigns.
So, the Cenation Leader continued that angle on the post-Elimination Chamber edition of the show. He alluded saying he does not have a confirmed feud which is why the chances are there that he might not get inserted into the Wrestlemania match card, at all.
He even called out The Undertaker, but that match is not going to happen, for now.
Hearing this pledge, several former WWE superstars answered to the challenge made by the franchise player of the company. All of them wanted to get into the challenger’s spot and get a match at Wrestlemania 34. It would give the almighty John Cena, a suitable contest, too.
The first one to mention in this list is former ECW Champion, Chavo Guerrero who said there’s a lot left in his tank to compete in a match at ‘Mania. Earlier, in his career, the 16-time world champion did share the ring with the legendary Eddie Guerrero on multiple occasions. Plus, he dealt a lot with Vickie Guerrero during his storyline against Edge or Dolph Ziggler. So, he does have an enriched history with the Guerrero family.
So @JohnCena needs an opponent for WrestleMania? Hey @WWE … I know a guy! #RoyalRumbleRevengeMatch pic.twitter.com/E3qGcJ0tC1

Later, Shane “The Hurricane” Helmes also threw a challenge to the former United States Champion stating he is ready for a match, too.
Earlier in January 2018, he entered the Royal Rumble match as a surprise entrance only to get eliminated by John Cena. So, he mentioned it would be a revenge match for him.
So people don’t lose sleep tonight. If Cena runs out of options I’d be willing to come back and face him a WrestleMania #WWE #RAW #TeamPlayer

Furthermore, Lance Storm also get involved in the mix. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion noted on Twitter that if the franchise player of the company runs out of opponents, then he will be more than willing to come back and compete in a match.
These are all funny banters, and none of these challenges is considered to culminate a wrestling match, certainly.
