WWE News: Four Cross-Brand Matches Confirmed for Survivor Series PPV

We got confirmed about the theme of the last annual dual brand PPV of the year.

From last year onwards, WWE started the tradition of hosting a competition between the two brands of Raw and Smackdown at the Survivor Series PPV. The trend was retained this year, too as part of which we are all set to see some big-time matchups at the last big PPV of 2017.

Even before Brock Lesnar accepted the challenge officially against Jinder Mahal, Kurt Angle gave us updates stating that the champions of Raw will go head-to-head against the champions from Smackdown in some of the most epic matches of recent times.

Afterwards, the beast incarnate appeared on the show alongside his advocate Paul Heyman stating that Jinder Mahal is a no-matchup against him. So, he accepted the challenge made by the WWE Champion on last week’s Smackdown. Later, WWE.com posted the below updates to make the match official,

“Who truly rules the roost in WWE? The Universal Champion or the WWE Champion? We’re about to find out. Now, The Beast Incarnate and The Modern Day Maharaja are set to clash at one of WWE’s most storied institutions. May the best champion win.
Tune in to see who emerges from the titanic collision at WWE Survivor Series on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 8/7 C, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network.”

Apart from this one match, the women’s champions from their respective brands will also lock horns. It set up the current Raw Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss going against the Smackdown Women’s Champion, Natalya in a singles affair.

The mid-card title holders will also be performing in singles matches. So, the Intercontinental Champion from Raw, The Miz will get to face the United States Champion, Baron Corbin from Smackdown. Also, the two tag teams from both the brands will also feature in the match. Hence, we will witness the first-time ever matchup between Dean Ambrose-Seth Rollins against The Usos at the Survivor Series.

It is how the match card looks like, right now:

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs WWE Champion Jinder Mahal

Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss vs SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya

Intercontinental Champion The Miz vs United States Champion Baron Corbin

Raw Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose vs SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos
