As confirmed earlier, WWE will be hosting a live event tour in India. On December 8th and 9th, they will be hosting two special house shows in the capital city of New Delhi. The Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium will be the host to the event. It is going to be a Raw-exclusive event where only the superstars from the flagship brand will be seen performing.
However, the main event of the night will feature two Smackdown superstars. Jinder Mahal represents our country in the WWE Universe in the USA, and hence he will be defending his WWE Championship. Kevin Owens has been declared his opponent against him for the championship match.
Whereas all the eyes will be on this particular bout, the entire match card has been revealed, recently. It features eight matches in total which might change in the future if required. For now, these are the announced matches,
• 3 on 4 Handicap Match: Apollo Crews, Titus O’Neil, Goldust vs. Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel.
• Jason Jordan vs Elias
• WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match: Kalisto vs Enzo Amore
• RAW Women’s Championship Match: Sasha Banks vs Alexa Bliss
• Finn Balor vs Bray Wyatt
• RAW Tag Team Championship Match: Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins vs Cesaro and Sheamus
• Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman
• WWE Championship Match: Jinder Mahal with The Singh Brothers vs Kevin Owens
The show is expected to be a good one with all the regular names performing in it including the likes of Finn Balor, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens, Braun Strowman. Not to forget the homeland favourite Jinder Mahal will be seen in a title match.
Also, the audience will get to see the match between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman which has been one of the best rivalries of 2017. Plus, Bray Wyatt will reignite his feud against Finn Balor which was unfinished due to his incompetency for viral affections.
The fact that this live event is exclusive to the Raw brand, we are getting to see more prime superstars from the WWE. We will surely miss names like AJ Styles, Nakamura or Randy Orton from Smackdown Live but the presence of Jinder and KO is likely to make that up for us, as we gear up to witness one stacked up event in December.
