Former WWE Champion “The Animal” Batista will face “The Game” Triple H at WrestleMania 35. These two legends will compete in a No Holds Barred match where there are basically no rules. The No Disqualification rule should allow them to bring out the huge amount of bad blood present between them.
This is not the first time that Batista and Triple H will square off in a match at Wrestlemania. Previously they had squared off in the 21st edition of the show where the latter one came up short. In fact, he has never been able to defeat the COO of the WWE in a singles encounter which is the main reason for the upcoming match.
Another reason spilled out by Batista was the fact that he wants to end his career on a big note. He has become a big Hollywood superstar in the past few years but still possesses the nag of pro-wrestling. Hence a big match against Triple H will be a perfect send-off for the former world champion.
So it’s almost clear enough that Batista will have his last match in the WWE at Wrestlemania 35. But that might not be the case as indicated in the recent reports. Slice Wrestling has reported that the upcoming match might not end up being the final match of Batista in the WWE as the company intends to work more with him.
Here’s more update from wwfoldschool.com,
“According to Slice Wrestling, WWE and Batista are discussing a possible appearance at SummerSlam 2019. This could result in Batista wrestling one more match in WWE later this year. WWE wants to capitalize on Batista’s star power and WWE does treat SummerSlam as the second biggest PPV of the year (behind WrestleMania).”
We should also note that Triple H’s career will also be in the line in this upcoming Wrestlemania 35 encounter. So he could be competing in his final match, as well. But this is a storyline created stipulation to raise the intensity high for this matchup. There should be any doubt with Triple H’s in-ring future.
On the other hand, the reports from the source gave hints that Batista would not suffer the same consequence, as well. He will not be competing in his farewell match like Kurt Angle. The star power added to his name should be worthy enough to drag along his WWE career for at least one more match.
