It will emanate on Sunday, April 7th in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium gathering fans all over the world. For the 14th time in history, an outdoor stadium is hosting the show.

But that is not where Wrestlemania 35 is set to make history. The event is about to fill up Vince McMahon’s pocket with bigger revenues that we could barely imagine. Even WWE has not received such bigger amount from the earlier editions that led them on the verge of making history on Sunday night.

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer that it would be the first WWE Live Event to generate revenue more than $20 million! You read it right that this one night show accompanied by several other fan festivities will gather this much of a whopping amount. It shows why Wrestlemania is a global brand in sports entertainment.

“The show could be the first live event in WWE history to top $20 million in revenue as it has increased ticket prices. Wrestlemania 35 is expected to easily surpass Wrestlemania 29’s 68,900 paid fans with $12.3 million in revenue. Wrestlemania 29 had 80,676 as the announced attendance figure in the same stadium.”
Vince McMahon smells money like no one else. This is the reason he brought Wrestlemania as close possible to mainstream entertainment. This is the reason why he is shattering own set records from the past with the upcoming editions. Next year, the show of shows will move to its familiar territory in the state of Florida.
