WWE News: Hall Of Famer Lita Is Returning To The Company, Soon 1

As per the recent reports on the Internet, WWE Hall of Famer Lita is coming back to the company, soon. Obviously, she is not coming back for competing inside the ring. Rather, she will be joining the commentary team for the upcoming May Young classic on the WWE Network.

As reported earlier, WWE is leaving no stones unturned for making this one a huge success. Plus, they are trying to emphasise on all the present and past female performers available. Some of them will be given a try to utilise as part of the tournament in some capacity.

So, Lita is supposed to join the commentary team alongside another WWE Hall of Famer, Jim Ross. The presence of these two is certainly going to be an added attraction for the show. In recent times, we have not got to hear from good old JR except from the main event match between Roman Reigns and The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 33.

In the case of the former women’s champion Lita, she was an integral part of the women’s revolution with her backstage presence. She has worked as the trainer for the female performers such as Charlotte, Becky, Sasha, Bayley and more. This was the reason WWE chose her to present the new women’s championship to Charlotte following Wrestlemania 32.

Plus, she was a regular member of the kick-off show panels on Raw, Smackdown Live and the PPV events. However, WWE wished to reduce the amount of money spent on the pre-shows leading to Lita’s absence in the company since December 2016.

So, it’s indeed a good news for the pro-wrestling fans who loves to see Lita back in the WWE programming. A contract renewal might bring him to the kick-off panel, as well. Her colleague, Renee Young is also expected to join the commentary table for the upcoming women’s tournament, as well.

In case you don’t know, WWE has already hired some female official and referees for the women’s classic. The tournament will be a WWE Network exclusive starting from July 13th and said to be much bigger than the previous UK tournament or the Cruiserweight classic, last year.
