WWE News: What Happened After Payback 2017 Went Off The Air 1

The main event of Payback witnessed the brutal match between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman. It was expected since these two have so much bad blood between them. In the end, The Big Dog failed to topple down the mountain among men. It took two power slams for Braun to finally pin Roman Reigns at Payback.

He was not done with Reigns even after the match and continued the onslaught attack with steel steps in hand. The show closed with the Samoan Superman walking out of the arena on own power.

After the show, the WWE medical staffs were checking Reigns up at the backstage area. The doctors might have advised him to take him to the local medical facility and he was being checked in front of an ambulance. Following the vicious assault, he was coughing out blood as the screen went black.

Strowman even showed up at the area and went to squash Reigns into the ambulance. But, he ducked at the last moment sending Strowman head first into the ambulance. Later, he slammed Braun’s head onto one door of the ambulance after which he decided to escape from there.

With this altercation happening at the locker room area, it is evident that we have not seen the end of this rivalry between these two powerhouses. They might be scheduled for one final encounter in near future. With this own, Strowman is now claiming that it has become his yard now.

Plus, the Raw Talk show took place after Payback was over. The new Raw women’s champion, Alexa Bliss graced the show and went on to shower herself with some gracious phrases following her win. Her bragging will continue for weeks to come after becoming the first women to hold both Raw and Smackdown women’s title.

Sheamus and Cesaro were the last guests on the show where they opened up about the shocking heel turn at Payback. They talked that they have one goal in mind and that is to recapture the titles. The rivalry between them and the champions should be a good one, starting from tonight’s Raw.
