Stephanie McMahon appeared on WWE Raw at the post-Summerslam episode. She was about to give away Ronda Rousey the women’s title that she won at Summerslam. But the commissioner could not resist to show off her heel antics.
This made the champion outrageous who locked in the arm-bar on her and left her lying with an almost broken arm.
Now we could think this one as an angle for the upcoming Evolution. Women from the present and past will compete in this particular show that keeps the door open for Stephanie McMahon. She could return to in-ring competition for this one-off occasion making it more auspicious.
Stephanie McMahon recently appeared in an interview with Sky Sports to hype-up Evolution PPV. The host asked her whether she will be competing at the PPV. She did not wipe out the chances at all. Instead, these were her following comments,
“That’s yet to be determined, we want to make sure our superstars really get the spotlight they deserve but if it makes sense then absolutely. But that’s yet to be determined.”
There could be a plethora of options if Stephanie McMahon does return at Evolution. Ronda Rousey is an automatic choice for her since these two started an organic rivalry. The Queen of Queendom could challenge the current champion just because she is the Boss. It could bring out the obnoxious villain out of her we used to see.
Another good option would be to put her in a segment with the returning AJ Lee. This comeback is still not official by imagining the roar of the crowd if this confrontation happens. AJ is the most natural babyface female star, whereas, Stephanie McMahon possesses the complete opposite persona. These two also have a rich history from the past that could lead up to a solid segment.
Also, a returning Vickie Guerrero could be a valid option for Stephanie McMahon. The last time these two shared ring was when McMahon eventually fired her from WWE Raw. They both had a swimming session in a mud-pool which is an all-time greatest segment from the show. We could get another such entertaining session in Evolution PPV, too.
WWE needs the involvement of Stephanie McMahon on the Evolution PPV, desperately. She is working hard to make the women’s revolution successful from day one. Plus, no one can deny the mainstream attention she brings alongside. Also, she is a former women’s champion on her own right that gives her full right to be a part of the show.
