WWE News: Huge changes made in Brock Lesnar’s WWE contract

The pro-wrestling fraternity has been buzzing since the news broke out that Brock Lesnar will head back towards the Octagon after a long time since his association with WWE got renewed in the year 2012. It was during the recently held UFC 199 pay-per-view when it was announced that Brock Lesnar is heading back to the UFC. At the UFC 200 pay-per-view, he will compete against Mark Hunt. The event will take place on July 9th. WWE has clarified it as “one-off opportunity” and said the beast will be available for WWE Summerslam.
While the MMA promotion is going all out to make the fight between Brock Lesnar and Mark Hunt worth a watch by any means possible, the speculations are running with Brock Lesnar’s current status in WWE. Will he really be available for WWE Summerslam? Even after the clarification made by WWE, it was reported earlier that there are huge chances for Lesnar of getting hurt since his opponent is known as a knock-out machine. If he does end up receiving some serious concussions he is nowhere to be found in the time of Summerslam.

Meanwhile, according to some insider on Reddit, FalconArrow there have been certain negotiations made in Brock Lesnar’s contract in recent weeks. Lesnar himself demanded the changes to Vince McMahon and WWE senior director Mark Carrano and that got granted. It is to be noted that after every six months a contract negotiation takes place to know if the certain superstar is happy with his role in WWE or not.
FalconArrow noted that the changes in the contract will be effective after Summerslam this year and from that point onwards Lesnar will not be seen on WWE Raw or WWE Smackdown. He will not make any appearances in WWE Live events, either. These reports add to the fuel with his future in WWE which is uncertain, at this stage. There’s no clue if he is thinking this return to MMA as “one-off opportunity” or a long-term basis is still not clear. On the other hand, since WWE has a stint ongoing with the “New Era” superstars and Brock Lesnar has already fought almost every present ‘who’s who’ inside the squared circle, his future in WWE is really in doubts.
