WWE News: Huge Planning Set For May Young Classic Finale 1

WWE Network came up with yet another exciting series featuring the female performers. It’s a tournament named after the great Mae Young that is featuring 32 women wrestlers around the globe and also the NXT territory. In the end, we will crown a winner that will be crowned with a trophy and named as the Mae Young Classic winner.

The season premiere of the tournament has aired, last week on the award winning network. It was a follow up of the previous Cruiserweight Classic and the United Kingdom tournament. Since these two tournaments were successful, WWE came up with yet another show with a bigger capacity for the female superstars.

As per the reports of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the creative team is willing to give something much different to the fans and hence planned a big night for the finale of this series. In case you don’t know, the live finale episode will go on air on September 12th just after Smackdown Live.

According to the source, the Finale night of Mae Young Classic will be one hour long, at least. It will feature the match between the two finalists, of course. But, other than that, we will also witness events featuring some of the participants of the tournament that have been eliminated, earlier.

Apart from this, the show will be graced by the four-horsewomen of the WWE, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Bayley and Sasha Banks. We can also expect to witness some of the legendary women performers in the company, as well. In combined, we can expect to see at least three matches on that night.

Apart from that, we might get to see the much-anticipated face-off between the two four horse-women groups from WWE and UFC. We previously stated that WWE has the original group whereas, in UFC, they have the counterpart comprising of Ronda Rousey, Marina Shafir, Jessamyn Duke and Shayna Baszler.

This face-off will start the storyline for an upcoming match between these two influential groups at the Survivor Series PPV in November. Previously, during the Mae Young Classic tapings, we have witnessed an untelevised face-off among them. Since WWE is quite high on this match, we can certainly expect another confrontation to conclude the tournament on a bigger note.
