WWE declared the potential main event of Fastlane on this past episode of WWE Raw. The Shield reunited on the show in a way that was unexpected. They will feature in a six-man tag team match that should headline this Sunday’s PPV. A reluctant heel Dean Ambrose decided to turn babyface ensuring the strongest babyface faction in the history of WWE is back.

Will Dean Ambrose leave WWE after Wrestlemania?
The team of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will compete against Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre at Fastlane. Now on any given day, The Shield is favorite going up against the heel trio. With a nostalgia act going on this reunion, emotions are also running high around them.
Well, WWE can certainly come up with a bitter twist to end this match using the sentimental issue. This will also ensure a huge matchup at Wrestlemania for Roman Reigns. Apparently, the plan for WWE might be to turn Dean Ambrose heel again at Fastlane. This would cost the Shield the tag team match putting an end to the reunion.
Seth Rollins will be busy against Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at Wrestlemania 35. This leaves Roman Reigns to take care of business against his brother-in-arms from The Shield. This automatically sets up one of the most bitter rivalries for him. But above all, he will not have to be deprived of a valid opponent at the biggest event of the year.
We have previously reported that Baron Corbin was the speculated name to take on against Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 35. This is not a strong lineup on paper for the grandest stage of them all. So replacing Corbin with Dean Ambrose would be a smart choice. Plus, this would be a fresh matchup that we have only seen once in the past.
The turn of events at Fastlane would be much organic for Dean Ambrose who is indeed acting as a Lunatic Fringe, lately. It was a forced decision for him to join hands with his brothers. Now by turning heel, he would turn the spotlight towards himself. He might have already been sick of getting overshadowed by Reigns and Rollins.
Also, this would be a masterstroke from WWE’s side to retain the former WWE Champion in the company. He is supposed to leave the company following Wrestlemania. But putting him in a match against the franchise player of the company is the best that he can ask for. Giving back his relevance on the roster will be the most significant way to force him renewing the contract.
