The actions did not stop following this week’s Smackdown Live even after the camera stopped rolling. The audience in attendance was up for a major treat after the main show. It was a dark match between two of the strongest Smackdown women’s champions. It was also a rematch from last year’s Wrestlemania 34 between Charlotte Flair and Asuka. Needless to say, it turned out to be a hell of a contest only for the people who attended the show live in person.
As noted by wrestlingINC.com, WWE arranged this huge championship match in the dark segment of Smackdown Live. The Empress of Tomorrow defended her women’s championship against The Queen of the WWE. It went down from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The two women stole the show as per the reports in the hometown of the challenger. We often refer to this city as the Flair country since they belong to here.
#sdlive #charlotte @NaomiWWE where are you at?
Also, after seeing him perform live, I am a believer in @TonyNese

Reports suggest that it was an incredible match between Asuka and Charlotte Flair. The two ladies perhaps delivered the best match of the night as stated by the fans who watched it. The champion retained after locking in the Asuka Lock on her opponent who tapped out submitting to the devastating maneuver. She celebrated to send the crowd home on a happy note.
Asuka was about to make an appearance on Smackdown Live this week in a short segment. A confrontation was set to happen against Mandy Rose. But WWE creative team scrapped this off from the card for some unknown reasons. Later, we received updates from WWE.com about the next title defense for Asuka. Mandy Rose will challenge in the announced match at the Fastlane pay-per-view on March 10th. This event will take place at the Quicker Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
Charlotte Flair, on the other hand is still to receive a spot on the Fastlane match card. She appeared on this week’s Smackdown to let us know that she will give a visit to WWE Raw, next week. Ronda Rousey walked away this week leaving the women’s title behind her. So Flair is hoping to pick this title up if Vince McMahon allows her to do so. For now, the title will stay to the McMahons.
