Aug 5, 2017 at 1:03 PM
This past week on Smackdown Live, we have witnessed the dream match between John Cena and Shinsuke Nakamura. This was one particular match that the fans have been waiting for a long time. Two of the most prolific athletes from the pro-wrestling industry locked horns to give us a 5-star rated match. In the end, Nakamura stood tall by putting away Cena with his pendant move, Kinshasa.
The win came with a sort of controversy since, during the finish in the match, Nakamura threw Cena on his neck in a nasty way. As you can see in the below tweet, Cena’s neck was completely twisted while landing. Human neck is not meant to look that way leading panic to the WWE officials. Even the commentators got into panic following the move.

However, being the ‘Superman’ that John Cena is, he was able to recover, very quickly. Being a true veteran not only he was able to finish off his match but also endorse the winner as the new face of the Smackdown Live brand following the contest. He even saved Nakamura from a blindside attack coming up in the form of Baron Corbin.

The Artist felt guilty for his in-ring actions after the match and went on to say sorry to the franchise player of the company. As you can see in the footages, Nakamura was seen uttering the words, “I Am Sorry” whereas Cena might have replied with “It’s Ok” kind of comments.

I feel ya @JohnCena. On the bright side, at least @ShinsukeN didn’t break your eyehole too. #Respect #SmackDownLIVE pic.twitter.com/DSROzqqc02

Fans also reacted on this incident whereas former WWE Superstar Austin Aries posted a picture where Neville caused a similar bad landing to him at Wrestlemania 33. Plus, he was a victim of Nakamura too. During an NXT Live event in 2016, Nakamura broke his eye-socket with his knee that hampered his wrestling career to a big extent.
Those freaking out over @JohnCena‘s rough landing must have missed the fact that he was revealed to be an actual transformer the day before.

This was mentioned in the tweet, as well. John Cena being the incredibly tough athlete overcame the nasty fall with great ease as Kevin Owens compared him with a Transformers guy. Cena was recently added to this movie franchise’s star cast for the upcoming project.
