WWE News: Jeff Hardy and Samoa Joe Advertised for Greatest Royal Rumble

The Greatest Royal Rumble event is turning out to be perhaps the biggest event hosted by the WWE apart from the Wrestlemania event.

Except for the showcase of the immortals, we have never received a show that is coming up with such a big capacity. As the 50-Superstar Royal Rumble match is not enough, there would be a huge match between John Cena and Triple H.

Furthermore, there would be seven championship matches stored in the show which were disclosed on the WWE’s official website, later.

Going by the lineups of these matches, it is evident some of the biggest names on the WWE roster will be returning during the post-Wrestlemania season when the superstar shakeup is also going to be back.

As per the latest announcement, Jeff Hardy and Samoa Joe will be back from injury following Wrestlemania 34. Both of them are being advertised to feature in separate title matches at the Greatest Royal Rumble matches.

One would be the WWE Raw tag team title match, whereas, the other would be the Intercontinental title ladder match. These are the official updates provided on,

“The Greatest Royal Rumble event will feature an Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match: Seth Rollins vs. Finn Bálor vs. The Miz vs. Samoa Joe, and a Raw Tag Team Championship Match: The Hardy Boyz vs. Sheamus & Cesaro. A Ladder Match is when a championship title is suspended above the ring, and the first Superstar to climb to the top of a ladder and retrieve the title is the winner and champion.”

A ladder match is a huge attraction on WWE programming, anytime. Given that such huge names will be involved in this contest, it is going to be a huge occasion for the WWE fans. The show is likely to be telecast on the WWE Network which is why fans all around the world will be able to watch it on TV.

Previously, General Sports Authority of Saudi Arabia Chairman, His Excellency Turki Al Sheikh, WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had signed a contract to come up with more such events in the country.

So, this is just a beginning of the spree considering this place has a huge fanbase of the WWE.
