There’s no doubt about Jeff Hardy being a pro-wrestling veteran. He is a full package of entertainment whenever entering a ring. Be it in WWE or around the independent circuit, this man has earned the respect of the fans. He is one of the most natural babyface superstars to be present around the WWE scene. Children love to see the Charismatic Enigma who has also become a Grand Slam Champion, earlier this year.

Why Police arrested Jeff Hardy?

Jeff Hardy has earned reached the top of his career at 2008 Armageddon by achieving the WWE Championship. He has won all the relevant championships on the roster sans the United States title. Earlier this year, he also achieved that by defeating Jinder Mahal in a singles contest. Nobody deserved this Grand Slam accolade better than him after spending two decades around the scene.

Smackdown threw a celebration in honor of his twenty year anniversary in WWE. It was in 1998 where he debuted in the company as a contracted superstar. This makes him as one of the rarest names from Attitude Era who is still active in-ring performers. The celebration went well on Smackdown until Samoa Joe interrupted and mocked him talking about the past.

This led us to the inevitable retirement context of Jeff Hardy. He shed lights on this topic while giving an interview with GuideLive.com. The high-flying superstar stated that he wrestles each of his matches as the final one. Eventually, his body will give up at some point and he had to announce it officially. But until it happens, he wants to enjoy the feud with Joe. He also shared his experience of working with the Samoan Submission Machine, (courtesy sescoops.com)

“That’s one thing I don’t know. Because I truly do – especially like the Hell in a Cell match, and even now I have two beautiful daughters, a beautiful wife – but I truly do wrestle every match like it’s my last because even a live event could be my last match.

Same thing with A.J. [Styles]. And it’s cool to think back then what we were doing in TNA and to see us now in WWE. And after that intense moment of him interrupting my celebration, it’s going to be a great feud. So, I’m looking forward to what’s going to happen in the weeks to come.”

Both the hardy brothers are facing the same questions of retirement. It is predictable since they have been in several hardcore matches in their career. The retirement schedule can only be officials depending on how much their body can endure in the current WWE schedule. Matt Hardy has already spent a long time sitting outside WWE Raw. Hopefully, Jeff Hardy does not have to deal with such situations. A champion like him should receive a proper send-off.
