We received a massive shocker on WWE Raw, this week as part of the Superstar Shakeup.
The night kicked off with Kurt Angle who promised the night to be filled with unpredictable one. But, we never saw that it was coming up right after the announcement. We got introduced to the newest member of the flagship brand in the opening segment.
Sunil Singh came out to give us the Modern Day Maharaja who was the reigning United States Champion.
Just a week before this, he won the US title from Randy Orton. It was his first ever Wrestlemania moment at the Mercedes Benz Superdome. We expected it to be last long, but it did turn out to be like this.

After appearing on WWE Raw, Jinder Mahal continued bragging about his accomplishments over on Smackdown Live. Even he compared himself to Brock Lesnar.
Listening to the trash talking, the GM did the perfect thing to shut him up. The United States Championship challenge was re-opened for any of the superstars in the back.
Jeff Hardy showed up answering the call which is why the match was held in an impromptu way. As reported earlier, it was a good contest from these two athletes that ended in favour of the babyface superstar.
After connecting with a Twist of Fate following with a Swanton Bomb, Jeff Hardy became the new US champion.

Jinder Mahal seemed irate after getting such a welcome on the flagship show. He wasted a little time to invoke his rematch clause.
At the Greatest Royal Rumble event, he will be looking forward to taking his title back in a singles matchup. Later, WWE.com official confirmed the match by posting the following comments,
“After the contest, an outraged Mahal invoked his rematch clause for WWE Greatest Royal Rumble in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, April 27. Will Jeff Hardy continue his upward momentum and retain his newly won United States Championship? Or, will The Modern Day Maharaja rebound and reassume his quest to have the WWE Universe become one nation under Jinder?”

The Greatest Royal Rumble match card has gone even bigger after a huge babyface superstar like Jeff Hardy got inserted into it in a solo matchup.
There’s no doubt that he will entertain the Saudi Arabia crowd, like never before. The event will be broadcasted live on the WWE Network on April 27th.
