WWE News: Jerry Lawler Gave Update on The Undertaker’s Physical Condition
The career of the Undertaker was supposed to be over with the loss against Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 33.
There had been plenty of speculations about his final status in the WWE once that match was done. But, the company has not addressed the rumours at all that has left some hopes around the fans who still wish to see him compete inside the ring.
It was his second loss at the grandest stage of them all. Brock Lesnar was first one to conquer the streak at Wrestlemania 30, whereas, Roman Reigns did it for the second time at the show. The Phenome received a standing ovation following the contest and decided to leave his in-ring gear in the middle of the ring. Apparently, this was the indication that he is done with wrestling.
But, the Deadman is always considered as the greatest in-ring performer in all of sports entertainment. So, the fans just can’t imagine going away like this. In addition, several sources keep coming up with the news of his comeback for some more matches. In recent times, WWE veteran Jerry Lawler indicated the same stating The Undertaker is still able to go in a match.
The regular face on WWE TV recently discussed the Phenome’s status in his podcast where he stated the man in the center of attraction was present at the backstage area during the Survivor Series PPV. This year the event was hosted in his home state of Texas, and he attended the event. Jerry had observed his physique and gave us some updates on it.
According to him, The Undertaker was in pretty good shape. His career might be in question for quite sometimes, but he is still ready to go.
Lawler added the showcase of immortals is inching closer, and we can expect him to see in one more match after the in-ring shape that he was in this recent backstage appearance. So, the Hall of Famer predicted,
“I think there’s some more matches left in the Undertaker.”
This might be a teaser that the Deadman will be back on the next edition of WWE Raw, tomorrow.
