WWE might have to deal with a major blow just hours before Elimination Chamber. One of the Uso brothers got into a heated altercation with the police that led him into the police custody. He was arrested after which WWE had to release an official statement to address the situation. There’s still no update whether it could affect the Elimination Chamber PPV match card.
WWE Superstar cleared to compete at Elimination Chamber
Jimmy Uso is the man in-concern who was driving with his wife in Detroit, Michigan. As reported by TMZ.com, the police caught Uso after he tried to get into an alleged altercation. Naomi was reportedly driving on the wrong side of a street on a one-way road. The police smelled alcohol from the vehicle and asked them to step out of the car.
Naomi was talking with the authorities when Jimmy Uso came out of the car for further help. But things soon went out of the control when the Samoan started preparing to fight the police! The officer in charge had to pull out a taser to take things under control. Jimmy Uso calmed down but the police had to arrest him in charge of ‘disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice.’
Later, he got released in a bond. WWE came to know about this altercation and released a short statement via PWInsider.com saying, “Jonathan Fatu is responsible for his own personal actions.” Both Jimmy Uso and Naomi are extremely familiar names with the WWE fanbase. They also have some mainstream followers courtesy of their stint on WWE Total Divas. So a fan was concerned about their well-being. Naomi assured him on Twitter that they are doing okay.

This is not the first time that police arrested Jimmy Uso for alcohol intake, before. Back in 2013, he was driving under the influence in Hillsborough County, Florida. He was even arrested once more in 2011 after driving under the influence in Tampa, Florida. That time, too, he was going in the wrong direction on a one-way street according to TMZ.
For now, WWE is still advertising Jimmy Uso on the Elimination Chamber match card. The Uso twins are set to take on Shane McMahon and The Miz for the Smackdown tag team championship match. But the card may change if WWE wishes to punish Uso for this arrest.
