At the recent bygone PPV UFC 214, we have witnessed a new lightweight division champion getting crowned. Daniel Cormier locked horns with Jon Jones for a knock out fight where the latter one emerged victorious to become the new champion. Following his monumental victory, he was interviewed by Joe Rogan where he called out one of his predecessors.
By shocking the world, Jon Jones called out none other than former UFC Champion, Brock Lesnar in an ugly manner. Being on the top of his game, he dared to take the fight to the beast incarnate and quote the following while addressing him,
“Brock Lesnar, if you want to know what it’s like to get your a** kicked by someone who weighs 40 lbs less than you, meet me in the octagon.”

If that was not it, then he went right after Brock Lesnar, once again during a Facebook interview. He expressed his desire to face the current WWE Universal Champion in a fight where gets to defend his newly won title. You can check the below comments where he pointed out the reasons as of why he should face Lesnar,
“I would love to fight Brock Lesnar. He is a massive dude. I mean, it would be a massive draw. Really big for the sport. It would be a great challenge. That’s a big ole’ boy. I doubt Brock Lesnar would take that fight, though.”

Now, as we all know, the conqueror of the WWE is not afraid of any fight and took no time to address the open challenge raised by the rookie player in his eyes. So, he went on to give him a warning by stating, “Be careful what you wish for, young man” in an interview with AP News.
Furthermore, he accepted the challenge by stating that they can go to the fight, anytime, anyplace. This is his further comment which indicated that Lesnar might return to Octagon, yet again,
“Would I fight Jon Jones? Anytime, anywhere. Right now he should be worried about D.C. on Saturday Night.”
