Kane returned on a recent episode of Smackdown Live. He came back to save his former partner in Daniel Bryan from the wrath of the Bludgeon Brothers.
His infamous music hit the arena when these two behemoths were beating down Bryan during the main event. After that, the two former champions cleaned house on the blue brand of the WWE.
It reincarnated the infamous team known as Team Hell No. They have entertained us a lot during their heyday back in 2012-13. Perhaps no other tag team had such a bizarre combination like them. They still managed to run the tag division for a significant amount of time before splitting up.
Now Kane and Daniel Bryan are back together. Smackdown General Manager could not think of a better opportunity to see these two hunting the titles, yet again. So she made Hell No the new number one contenders for the tag titles. They will lock horns with the Bludgeon Brothers over the tag championships at Extreme Rules.
It can turn out to be the same night where Kane can eventually accomplish an incredible record. He can become the only man to hold each kind of tag team championships present on the WWE over the past two decades. The Smackdown tag team titles are the only ones that he did not put his hands on. Here’s the update from SportsKeeda.com,
“If Kane does successfully win the Smackdown tag team championship at Extreme Rules, it will make him the first person to ever win the world tag team championship, WCW tag team championship, (Raw) tag team championship, and Smackdown tag team championship, meaning that Kane has held every tag team championship in WWE.”
The Big Red Machine already possesses a unique record when it comes to the tag titles. He is the only man to win seven tag team titles with different names.
No other superstars have teamed up with separate names to win titles. Over the years, superstars like Mankind, Xpac, The Undertaker, Rob Van Dam, Big Show and Daniel Bryan have been his tag partners.
Kane also holds the record of being the most successful one in the Royal Rumble match.
He has the record of most no. of eliminations (43) to his name. Apart from this, the Demon from the depths of hell has also been multi-time world and Intercontinental Champions in his career. There’re no doubt this veteran will end his career as a first ballad WWE Hall of Famer in the future.
