WWE News: Kane Returned to In-Ring Action Against Braun Strowman 1

Kane was away from the in-ring competition after suffering an ambush at the hands of Braun Strowman in January.

Back in the fall of 2017, the Big Red Monster returned to the WWE, all of a sudden to start a feud against the newly found resident monster present in the WWE. It turned out to be a battle for supremacy between these two behemoth superstars present on the flagship show.

After months of gruelling battles, they got inserted into the WWE Universal Championship match at the Royal Rumble PPV. This was gigantic collision which also included Brock Lesnar into the mix.

An utter chaos ensued on that night where the champion retained by pinning Kane. The following night marked the departure for Kane from live TV.

It was a qualifying match for Elimination Chamber between Kane and Braun Strowman. It was made, a Last-Man-Standing match between them where everything is legal. The monster among men turned over an entire ramp on Kane to bury him under it. We had never seen a scene like this before in the WWE programming that sent an injured Kane to the hospital.

After weeks of hiatus, Kane, the veteran superstar finally returned to competition, against his nemesis in another big matchup. None other than Braun Strowman was his opponent in this house show which was a Raw-exclusive event.

The match took place in the city of Kalamazoo, Michigan. At this time, the Wrestlemania-special live shows are ongoing on the schedule of the WWE.

The match started with the two competitors having a face-off. They brought two stairs into the ring. This segment received huge cheers from the crowd, as the WWE Universe always likes weapons. Later, it turned out to be an entertaining match which witnessed Kane hitting a chokeslam for a near-fall.

Braun Strowman kicked out of that and connected with his finishing move, the running powerslam to pick up the win. It was great to see the legendary superstar back onboard, as he would deliver us some entertaining matches in the future.

Also, there’s a chance that he might be back on WWE programming, as well.
