WWE News: Kevin Owens And Sami Zayn to be a Part of Survivor Series 1

Two of the most prominent villains of Smackdown Live, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn will not be competing in the Survivor Series PPV.

Despite fans not liking the decision, the two superstars were eventually taken away from the match card of Survivor Series PPV. They are not a part of the team Smackdown while fighting the superstars from Raw.

Both these men were given a chance to qualify for the team on Smackdown Live. Sami Zayn was unable to beat Randy Orton for the spot at Survivor Series, whereas, Kevin Owens squared in a match against Shinsuke Nakamura. Unfortunately, both the heels were unable to win their respective matches and could not get into the team Smackdown.

Once going after that process, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were not given any further chances to join the blue brand team led by Shane McMahon. Fans of these two Canadian buddies always complained about the fact as to why they are out of the spotlight.

Apparently, WWE might have understood this and came up with some better planning. According to the reports of cagesideseats.com, the officials are trying to insert the duo into the match card of Survivor Series, by any means. They are trying to find out an appropriate storyline angle so that Owens and Zayn can make their presence felt on the PPV show.

The speculations are running rampant that Shane McMahon is hiding these two superstars, initially to use them as a trump card. Using them, he will be able to pick up the victory by dismantling team Raw. The chances of this scenario to happen are if Shane McMahon turns into a heel at the Survivor Series.

Else, the best friends will show up betraying their brand and especially the commissioner for his strong words. So, they might be the sole turning point of team Smackdown losing the traditional tag team match.

Being the top two stars of the blue brand, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn needs to appear on the show in some capacity. If not, then their status as a heel will get loosened up. We will have to wait for some more to see what the officials have in store for us on this Sunday Night for these two Smackdown stars.
