WWE News: Kevin Owens Comments About Potential Faction With Samoa Joe, Post-Wrestlemania XXXIII 1

Kevin Owens is all set to take on the United States champion and his former best friend, Chris Jericho at the grandest stage of them all. They have had quite a rivalry since the day Owens turned his back on Y2J to the shock of the world. It has become much personal now and will culminate with a mega match at Wrestlemania.

In this bout, the former WWE Universal Champion is a clear favorite to come out victorious since Chris Jericho will take a time-off from his WWE schedule. Going forward, some big planning might be waiting for him so that he could cement his legacy in the WWE.

For weeks now, the rumor mill is suggesting that an alliance might have in store with Kevin Owens & Samoa Joe working together led by Triple H for the betterment of the former twos. KO appeared in a recent interview with Main Event Radio and commented about the same. Take a look at what he had to offer:

“I don’t know anything about a faction, to be honest. I know that HHH has shown a lot of faith in me and he helped me win the Universal championship. Samoa Joe happens to be a fortunate ally. I’ll never turn down someone like him for help. It’s interesting to see where it goes.”

The interview was basically hosted to promote his match with Jericho. He is well-aware with the fact that how much the hardcore wrestling fans are excited with this one. So he said that the two of them possess a good chemistry. The match for the US title might turn out to be the best in the card. Here are his comments:

“We’ve been doing some entertaining stuff together and it’s going to keep going that way for the foreseeable future. I think Chris [Jericho] and I have a good shot at having the best match on the card.

I actually think it’s the match that people are most invested in. The story we’ve told over several months and everything that’s happened between us. Everyone’s excited about the match, it’s going to make for a great time, and I plan on walking out as United States champion.”
