WWE News: Kurt Angle Teases a Dream Match with Daniel Bryan 1

Kurt Angle has been campaigning for some dream matches as of late. He is thirsty for some epic matches inside the squared circle ever since coming back to the WWE.

We were in serious doubts whether WWE doctors would allow him to compete inside the ring. But that happened back in the TLC PPV in 2017.

He featured in two more matches going forward. But we should note in this context that none of these three matches were in a one-on-one capacity. Kurt Angle returned to action as part of The Shield faction back at TLC. After that, we saw him leading team Raw at Survivor Series as the captain against Smackdown Live.

Later, he teamed up with Ronda Rousey to compete in a match against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. All of these contests were in multi superstar capacity as you can see.

One such reason behind this would be officials’ doubts over his capability. We reported it earlier that Kurt Angle is dealing with a neck injury for a long time now. He even has his gimmick which says a broken ‘freaking’ neck. In-ring skills of him have also got soften by now considering his age.

He continues campaigning for another dream match on the social media. The former general manager of Smackdown Live is his next target. The current Raw general manager wants to see Kurt Angle vs Daniel Bryan in a singles capacity as per a post on Instagram.

There’re no doubts that these two are the two most technical athletes present in the pro-wrestling industry. Angle vs Bryan is a dream lineup for the fans. If executed successfully this can turn out to be the best match produced in the WWE history ever. But there’s still a doubt whether this match could ever happen.

These two have shared the ring in this year’s Greatest Royal Rumble event. They were part of the 50-superstar over-the-top-rope battle royal where they had a one-off segment.

Kurt Angle tried to lock in the Ankle Lock on Bryan before his elimination. But that as nothing in comparison to a singles encounter between the two of them. We hope this one to happen in one of big-four PPV events in the near future.
