This week’s Smackdown continues to shape up as a big episode. Already we have got to know about two MITB qualifying matches on the show.

There will be some more interesting segments, as well. Furthermore, WWE has now confirmed to have a third MITB qualifier on the show. It is set to take place at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.

This third match is going to be the final spot available on the blue brand from the women’s division. Sonya Deville will lock horns against the former women’s champion Naomi for this opportunity. Already, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch advanced to the historical contest set for June 17th. They won their respective matches to advance to the second-ever women’s MITB ladder match.

Either Lana or Billie Kay will get to secure the third place from the Smackdown women’s division.

For the fourth spot, the GM of the show confirmed the contest mentioned above. It came up interestingly.

Last week, we received a triple threat contest where Becky Lynch squared off against both the members of former Absolution group. Capitalizing on the miscommunication between Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, the Irish Lass-kicker won the contest.

The point to be noted here is that Mandy Rose lost the contest. Sonya never digested the lost. So. She demanded another opportunity to the authority figure, Paige.

Check out the updates from WWE.com,

“Sonya Deville asked for another opportunity to qualify for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, and she will get one this Tuesday on SmackDown LIVE when she faces Naomi.

The former Absolution member believes that because Mandy Rose was the one who tapped out to Becky Lynch’s Dis-arm-her in last week’s Triple Threat qualifier, she still deserved another chance.”

The former mentor of Sonya Deville continued to demand an opportunity on her Twitter handle. She was right about this opportunity and Paige did not hesitate to hand over the match to her former protégé. So, there’s no scope to say that she is favouring Deville with this sudden change.

However, Naomi is the favourite to win this contest. She is out of the spotlight ever since winning the Women’s battle royal match at Wrestlemania 34. Her high-flying ability is tailor-made for MITB ladder match. So, she should not miss this opportunity.
