WWE News: Live Event Results from WWE MSG Show, July 7th, 2018 1

WWE MSG (Madison Square Garden) presented an awesome show last night. It fell within WWE’s Summerslam Heatwave tour schedule. Perhaps the fans also received prelude of the biggest event of the summer starting from last night. WWE also taped advertisements for the upcoming Summerslam show from New York City.

Meanwhile, WWE MSG witnessed the return of the Undertaker in a huge tag team match. Plus, Ronda Rousey was fulfilling her contractual obligations despite the suspensions from WWE Raw.

Dolph Ziggler cut a promo to start the show promising that he would retain the Intercontinental title by help from Drew McIntyre. The National Anthem was played around the arena after which Kurt Angle welcomed us to the main show.

Bobby Lashley defeated Jinder Mahal in a singles contest by hitting him with a Jackhammer. The crowd gave a big pop when Jinder accidentally hit Sunil Singh instead of Lashley.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander defeated Buddy Murphey in a solid matchup. He finished the contest at WWE MSG hitting a Lumber Check.

WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt won a Triple Threat match. Titus Worldwide and The B-Team was their opponents. Hardy hit the Twist of Fate on Titus O’Neil to get the win.

Bayley & Natalya & Ember Moon teamed up against Alicia Fox & Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan. The Hugger delivered a Bayley-to-belly to nail the win on the heel squad.

Mojo Rawley got a match against Bobby Roode who made his WWE MSG debut. We heard him saying “It took me twenty years to get here” while entering the arena. Unfortunately, Mojo hit the Pounce to pick up a huge win over the former US Champion.

The Lucha House Party defeated Drew Gulak & Jack Gallagher & The Brian Kendrick.

Dolph Ziggler retained his Intercontinental Championship in a triple threat match against Seth Rollins and Finn Balor. Drew McIntyre distracted Rollins allowing Dolph to score the win via a roll-up. It was an absolutely PPV quality main event match.

Ronda Rousey defeated Nia Jax in a match with Mickie James serving as the guest referee. Bliss and Mickie were not counting the pinfalls for Ronda. So another ref came down to allow Ronda to get the win on her WWE MSG debut.

The main event of WWE MSG witnessed The Undertaker & Roman Reigns & Braun Strowman defeating Elias & Kevin Owens & Baron Corbin.

Taker got a wild reception after coming back to MSG after eight years. The Deadman was the one to finish the match after getting a hot tag. He hit the Tombstone Piledriver on Owens to end the show in style.
