Madison Square Garden in New York city is considered as one of the most famous arenas in the world. It has been treated as one of the prestigious ground for the pro-wrestling industry.
Considering the stage whenever WWE arranges a Madison Square Garden live event, the match card always looks solid and this time, too it will see no exception as the next MSG live special on the WWE Network is all set to take place on July 16th.
The WWE Live event scheduled from the prestigious arena will see two of the most decorated superstars in their generation colliding with each other. The franchise of the WWE, John Cena will square off against The Phenomenal One, AJ Styles.
The match card will also see the former Shield brethren going against each other. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns will face the Architect, Seth Rollins. Though it’s not advertised while the bout will be contested for the championship or not, the match will meet the crowd’s hunger giving the rich history between them and the stir that Rollins has made upon his return.
It’s good to see WWE is focusing on giving the crowd with the best in the WWE Network specials as we have seen in the past in WWE Roadblock or the last Madison Square Garden special live event.
If that’s not enough for you, WWE has another blockbuster contest in store as The Lunatic Fringe Dean Ambrose will go one-on-one against Chris Jericho. This time, the match will be a street fight contest which means anything goes.
Remember, what happened the last time these two has faced inside that Asylum? Also, the rest of the cards will be filled by the WWE Women’s champion Charlotte, Ric Flair, The New Day, The Usos, Natalya, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, The Vaudevillains and Apollo Crews round up the remaining star cast advertised for the event.
It’s interesting to see Ric Flair still roaming around despite being thrown away by her daughter. Perhaps, WWE has in store some payback by the Nature Boy in the near future.
