WWE News: Main Event Match Of WWE TLC Kept Intact On WWE Raw 1

We were unsure about the status of Braun Strowman for WWE TLC ever since the injury scare broke out. Last week, he competed in a three-on-one handicapped match on WWE Raw. Bobby Lashley, Baron Corbin, and Drew McIntyre ganged up on the helpless monster. The acting general manager wanted his opponent to be out of the WWE TLC PPV and might have been successful to some extent.

A shot with the steel step shattered the elbows of Braun Strowman as noted on WWE.com. Earlier updates suggested that he was about to undergo a surgery to heal up the wounds. It is almost unthinkable to see someone competing within one month of a surgery. This is the main reason why we are unsure of getting the main event of the upcoming PPV.

However, WWE has kept the match intact as stated on last night’s WWE Raw. Baron Corbin did not remove the match from the WWE TLC match card in order to win ‘by forfeit when Strowman fails to show up due to the injury’. This will ensure full control on the flagship show as he becomes the permanent general manager of WWE Raw. December 16th is the date when he might begin his tenure as the prime authority figure.

However, he should not be overjoyed at this moment as Braun Strowman is keeping a close eye to him. We have seen him coming back from injuries within just a couple of weeks. History might repeat itself when he comes back hunting down the Lone Wolf. We heard the same on WWE Raw in a video message via satellite from the hospital.

We spotted him with a bruised arm preparing for a surgery. This confirmed that he will be on the shelves for sometimes. But WWE is still continuing the storyline angle between Strowman and Corbin hinting that the match is happening. This still ensures the fact that the monster’s injury is not much fatal at this point and he should be back in no time.

This should be a relief for the WWE Raw creative team as they would not have to make a change to the Universal Championship match. If everything falls right then Braun Strowman is sure to win the match at WWE TLC. This will guarantee an opportunity to ‘get these hands’ on Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble.
