On this upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw, we will have a major ‘Superstar Shakeup’ that will put up a drastic makeover on the rosters of both Raw and Smackdown. It is expected that major big names from both the brands will shift their places.
Vince McMahon wanted to make things interesting for the post-Wrestlemania season. Hence, he came up with the idea of this one which is much similar to the WWE Draft. With multiple possible switches, we will get fresh feuds, going forward.
Now, we have previously given updates of the probable changes that are being planned for the male division. The same can be said to the Women’s division, as well. As per the rumor mill, two of the biggest names from each of the women’s division will switch their spots.
The Queen of the female locker room, Charlotte is expected to be shifted to Smackdown live. At this moment, she is not involved in any rivalry on the flagship show. Keeping her on Raw means there would be repetition in the rivalries. On the other hand, sending her to the other brand means a plethora of new opportunities would come forward to her.
If this move happens then there would be a bigger void on Raw which would be filled up by none other than the former two-time Smackdown women’s champion, Alexa Bliss. The wicked witch of the WWE is done with her rivalry against Naomi after losing the title chance that she was given on this past week’s Smackdown. Moving her on Raw means a lot of options will be made wide open for the creative, in terms of storylines.
Meanwhile, Alexa commented on the matter stating that how the women’s division on the blue brand is far better from the flagship show. She pointed out that every one of them is given the opportunity to make their own statement. Here were her comments:
“Our women are all featured all the time. We have such a strong division — we don’t have a weak link. And we’ve been given the opportunity to show multiple times that our women can showcase and showcase well. The overall philosophy of the show is definitely going to allow us to bring this revolution to the next level.”
There are also chances of either Emma or Sasha Banks shifting to Smackdown from Raw. Both the ladies were caught on last week’s Raw fallout show and commented on the possible change.
