WWE News: Matt Hardy Confirms That The ‘Broken’ Gimmick Will Return Soon

Matt Hardy returned to the WWE at Wrestlemania 33 alongside his brother Jeff Hardy. It was a monumental occasion for the WWE fans since the veteran performers returned after almost seven long years. Also, they were able to capture the Raw tag team titles in their signature ladder match.

Now, the main concern among the fans around The Hardyz was that they could not witness them in their bizarre ‘Broken’ personas. Back at last year’s summer, they debuted with this gimmick at the Impact Wrestling promotion.

Once they left the place, the owner of the company pursued legal actions to bar them from using the gimmick in the WWE. This delayed the arrival of the ‘Broken’ Matt Hardy in the pinnacle of sports entertainment. Also, several speculations were born stating that they might leave this persona.

However, in the latest post on the social media, Matt Hardy confirmed that it will indeed return when the time is right. At present, all the WWE superstars from Raw and Smackdown are present in the Europe as part of WWE’s UK tour.

The Hardy Boyz kicked off the tour in style from Rome. WWE posted a video of them to hype up the live events coming up. A fan reacted on the video stating that he is not supposed to debut the ‘Broken’ gimmick, anymore. In fact, he went on a rant to which the one-half of the current Raw tag team champions, replied by stating:

“The #7Deities have told me that my #BROKEN CONDISHTION will return fully as soon as the OBSOLETE Owl is fully DELETED.”

The fan might have been a fan of Impact Wrestling and was not happy to see the Hardy Boyz coming back to the WWE. Especially he stated that Matt hardy betrayed the Impact Owl (Impact wrestling) by leaving the promotion.

However, Matt pointed out that the legal battle is ongoing between the two parties. Once, it’s over then he will bring it back in the WWE. The agreement between WWE and Impact Wrestling is said to be almost finalised and hence we should not wait a long time to see the ‘Broken’ one, again.
