WWE News: The Miz Discussed Why Smackdown Live Is Better Than Raw 1

Ever since the brand split happened, the competition between Raw and Smackdown Live is at its very peak. The Blue brand of the WWE took sometimes to pick up the gear but once they did they raced away and left the flagship show far behind.
With the fresh storylines, compactness of the show and utilising all the talents on the roster, Smackdown Live had beaten Raw in every single aspect. The Miz has been one of the top names on the Smackdown brand letting the success ongoing. He had a career year in 2016 with the Intercontinental title around his waist until Dean Ambrose snatched it away, permanently.

Recently, the A-lister had an interview with Planeta Wrestling where he opened up about why Smackdown has been more successful than Raw. He mentioned the right utilisation of the talents has been the key for the brand. Here are his full comments:
“I feel people are correct when people say SmackDown Live is the better show because it is. We as a collective group – I feel like SmackDown Live or SmackDown blue side has always been known as the second show, it’s not the baby. I feel like RAW has always been the coveted one.
With the talent WWE brought over to SmackDown Live, everyone looked at that and said you know what? We’re gonna make that this show the most talked about, must see, that people want to see what will happen next, we’re gonna have water cooler talk, and that’s exactly what we set out to do. And that’s exactly what we’ve done.”

The Miz also mentioned the confusion that took place in this year’s Oscars. La-La Land has announced the best picture even if Moonlight was the actual winner. Here’s what the Hollywood movie star had to offer regarding this incident:
“It was sad but it was also dramatic, it was definitely an ending that people are going to talk about and remember all the time in Oscars. There is a lot of conspiracy theories that it was done to do on purpose to get people to talk about it. I don’t think anyone would be that cruel.”
