On an interesting note, the connection between the Mumbai Indians and WWE seems growing stronger. As revealed by the WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal, the champion team of IPL 10 has sent their return to give to the biggest pro wrestling promotion in the world.
Apparently, the vice president of talent relations in the WWE and the veteran superstar, Triple H sent a custom made championship belt to Mumbai Indians after their championship win in the month of May. On May 21st, they have become the only team to win the IPL for three times.
To congratulate the champions, Triple H placed the Mumbai team’s logo on both the sides of the WWE title to give them a pleasant surprise. As we have seen, the captain Rohit Sharman has posed with the prestigious title and thanked WWE for this.
Now, the Mumbai Indians have sent their official jersey to the WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal who is billed from our native land of India. The prime title holder in the WWE took his twitter handle to acknowledge the same and posted the message for the Indian WWE fans saying how much he loves to watch cricket,
“Hello India, this is your WWE champion Jinder Mahal and I want to send a big thank you to the Mumbai Indians for sending me this custom jersey with my name on it. And I will wear it with pride. Cricket meri jaan!”

The official website of the WWE has also revealed the same on their official website and Youtube channel. This is what the company had to say about the gift,
“Champions recognise champions. The Mumbai Indians, who defeated Rising Pune Supergiant last May to become three-time Indian Premier League champions, sent a custom jersey to reigning WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. Upon receiving the gift, The Maharaja responded with a recorded shout-out to his countrymen.”
The head honchos of the WWE always keep themselves related to the world in order to grab some mainstream media attentions. So, this was another try from.Triple H to get noticed by the fans of India who are already excited with Jinder Mahal’s championship reign. We can expect that this type of altercation on the social media is likely to grow day by day.
