Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart passed away on August 13th. We received the sad news just days before the Summerslam PPV event. It sidelined his daughter Natalya for a week or so before coming back to the biggest event of the summer. She brought a piece of her father’s memory from Summerslam 1990 to give us a pleasant surprise.

Bret Hart teamed up with Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart to win the tag team championship twenty-eight years ago. It started the reign of the legendary team named The Hart Foundation. WWE Universe considered Jim to be a pioneer of this industry and mourned a lot after this demise. But at the end of the day, the show must go on.

Natalya is still an active member of the female roster who will continue to carry her father’s legacy. We did not hear her talking about her father’s death around Summerslam. Later, she sat down for an exclusive interview with WWE.com to express her feelings after losing her daddy.

The former Divas and women’s champion stated its tough for her to spend life without her father. But she will have to accept the fact and move along down the road. Only then she can pay tribute to the late great Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart. Check out comments from Natalya from WWE.com,

“Losing a parent, you know, it’s just… it’s tough. But for me, I also know that you have to keep going. You have to, and I want to send that message to people too, that are going through a hard time, that, like, bad things happen and sad things happen, but at the end of the day we have to keep going. We have to dust ourselves off, and we have to get up, and we have to keep going.”

Natalya seemed confident to do justice to her father’s legacy. She wants to be happy by remembering the happier times she spent with Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart.

WWE Universe considers her as the cornerstone of the ongoing women’s revolution. The veteran looks to make the fullest impact for the upcoming Evolution PPV event for the women superstars.

“I’m not saying goodbye to my dad. Like, I made my mind up that there’s no… we’re not saying goodbye to my dad, because I can talk to him at any time that I want. I can reach out to him; I can talk to him at any time I want. Now I just feel like I have an extra angel in heaven, up there with my uncles, Davey and Owen, and my grandfather, Stu Hart. So many people that have left us before, now they’re going to look after me. And my dad is going to be having one hell of a party in heaven.”

Natalya is getting the benefit of that as the fans are cheering for her out of sympathy ever since the demise.

It could eventually lead her into a bright spot in the Raw women’s division. Perhaps, she could get a future feud against none other than Ronda Rousey.
