After overcoming a lot of negativities around her, Paige was back in the WWE just after the Survivor Series PPV. Her career was in certain jeopardy after a lot of infamous incidents involving the private media leak, drug issues, police charges and more.
It is considered that the relationship with Alberto Del Rio might be her biggest mistake in life that made things miserable for her.
However, the WWE Universe welcomed her with open arms showing the respect that she deserved. Also, with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville by her side, she had received all the momentums just after return. She was considered to be one of the favourites to win the contest until an injury occurred at the very end of 2017.
It was the house show took place during the Holiday Tour of the WWE where she has been a part of a six-woman tag team action. Sasha Banks hurt Paige from the back delivering a knee-drop. As assumed the knees might have connected to the spinal cord where she previously had the neck surgery causing it to be much severe.
Since then WWE held her back from wrestling inside the squared circle to make her fit in time for the Royal Rumble match for the women. However, she might not only compete in this match but forever in the WWE, according to the recent reports. PWInsider.com gave seriously bad news about Paige would never be able to wrestle again in the company. Check out the updates, (courtesy stillrealtous.com)
“PWInsider is reporting that Paige was informed this week that WWE will not be clearing her to return to the ring following the recent injury that she suffered at a WWE live event. It’s being reported that she was given the news on Monday at Raw and that she is considered to be “done” as an in-ring performer.”
“It was believed that she had just suffered a stinger, but after she started losing feeling in her extremities, WWE decided to do more testing which ultimately led to the decision to pull her from in-ring action.”

The injury suffered by her might be much similar to that of Daniel Bryan or Edge that forced them to take retirement from in-ring competition. If that is the case, then we will see one of the most popular female in-ring competitors of all-time getting declared as incompetent by the WWE doctors.
Multiple sources stated it is likely that a non-wrestling role would be reserved for her if that is the case.
