WWE News: New Championship Match Confirmed For Wrestlemania 34 1

The Smackdown women’s championship match has been finalised on following the Fastlane PPV event hosted on March 11th. Asuka appeared on the show challenging the reigning women’s champion, Charlotte Flair. This confirmed that we would see two of the strongest women performers in the current locker room at the biggest event of the year.

Previously, Asuka was supposed to lock horns against Alexa Bliss challenging for the WWE Raw women’s championship. But, the course for the title match was altered at Fastlane. This also started the chances of seeing a new title match from the flagship show of the WWE. WWE officially announced this upcoming match, and the opponent pitted against the reigning champion on Raw.

On this week’s edition from Dallas, Texas, we have witnessed a promo delivered by Little Miss Bliss. She blasted Nia Jax for being a monstrous figure. The storyline angle progressed over the body-shaming issue to generate sympathy from the crowd. This helped Roman Reigns’ cousin to turn into a babyface superstar, as well.

It was last week when Alexa Bliss finally declared to end her partnership with Nia Jax. Formerly, these two were the best of friends and named their association, Team Rude. With these altercations, the rivalry between them reached the boiling point. Nia sought redemption from Bliss who managed to escape the ring.

But, she won’t be escaping when it comes to Wrestlemania. At the grandest stage of them all, she would have to defend it against the irresistible force known as Nia Jax. Check out the official announcement from WWE.com,

“What will happen when The Irresistible Force finally gets her hands on Bliss at WrestleMania? Will Alexa overcome incredible odds to prevail with the Raw Women’s Title yet again? Or will Jax show why Alexa wanted to keep her out of the title scene by triumphing over Little Miss Bliss?

Find out when Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax collide at WrestleMania 34, streaming live on WWE Network on Sunday, April 8, at a special start time of 7 ET/4 PT.”

This match was in the radar of the creative team much earlier than the Wrestlemania season, the crowd has already backed this feud up, and they are likely to do the same throughout the time as we head to Wrestlemania 34. It is one of the natural storylines we have witnessed in the women’s roster in recent times.
