WWE News: New Weekly Show Announced On Sony Max In Hindi 1

WWE is constantly trying to spread their wings on Indian Television. Making Jinder Mahal the WWE champion was just the first step to attracting the audience in the country as we expect to get plenty more of these in near future. In one such announcement, the company has confirmed a new show in Hindi to be broadcasted in the number one movie channel in India.

Sony Pictures Network India and WWE have announced that they are launching a brand new TV series called Sunday Dhamaal around the WWE programming on Sony Max. It will commence from tomorrow night i.e. June 25th in our national language of Hindi. We can catch it on a weekly basis on every Sunday from 6 to 8 PM.

The program will feature the latest happenings from both Raw and Smackdown, every week alongside the social media buzz and rumours. The company has already promised to bring the best quality entertainment which will be family-friendly. This is the sole reason that WWE has turned into PG mode a few years back so that they can serve more in different regions.

This will be another version of the previously known program of Raw Sunday Dhamaal on Ten Network where only Raw programming used to be addressed. This newer show will also be airing on Ten 1 Network and Ten 1 HD on every Sunday morning at 10 AM.

The regular faces Acharya and Madonna Teixeira will host the show where they will be presenting the program in a localised way. There will be an interactive segment for the show named ‘Debate of the week’ where fans around the country can express their views on different WWE topics using social media like Facebook, Twitter etc.

A lucky contest will also be held using WWE trivia. Lucy winners will get WWE merchandises as prizes. Sheetesh Srivastava, the VP, and GM of WWE India quoted the following on this auspicious occasion:

“We are excited to partner with Sony Pictures Networks India to bring our passionate fans new and localised content featuring all their favourite WWE Superstars. WWE Sunday Dhamaal gives our massive fan base in India a customised version of WWE’s blend of action-packed, family-friendly entertainment from Raw and SmackDown every week.”
