As reported earlier, Neville might have chosen to walk out of the WWE on this past edition of Monday Night Raw.
The scripts for Monday Night Raw was changed multiple times on this particular edition from Indianapolis that led frustrations to him. So, he decided to go home instead of performing in his schedule championship match against Enzo Amore.
As a result, Kalisto was chosen to face the reigning champion. Also, he defeated Enzo in a Lumberjack match to become the new Cruiserweight Champion. Technically, Neville still owes a rematch for his title, but not sure whether it will be provided or not.
So, the rumours of his departure are going viral on the internet since multiple sources have confirmed it. Also, a couple of stars including the Young Bucks have offered him new positions outside the WWE that is another hint of him leaving the biggest pro-wrestling promotion of the world for not being happy in his place.
However, WWE officials have denied such speculations that are floating on the social media, reportedly. If a report from PWInsider.com is to be believed, then the former Cruiserweight Champion has not gone anywhere. But, the consequences do not support their words, at all.
The King of the Cruiserweights was not present in the WWE 205 Live show on the WWE Network following Smackdown Live. He is one of the main event stars of the show dedicated to the lightweight superstars. His absence was felt on this past Tuesday night.
Plus, Kevin Owens shared a picture on his Instagram account with Neville which is yet another hint of the latter one’s departure. No caption was provided with it, and hence the speculations are still to be confirmed.
Neville is considered to be a great in-ring technician with a few matchups to his level. Before coming to the WWE, he used to entertain the independent scene audience with his incredible moves. He has never been able to mark his presence in the main roster scene, significantly. It is the potential reason why he is quite unhappy. Probably, leaving the company will earn him better opportunities in other promotions like Cody Rhodes.
