Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns part IV will take place at the Summerslam PPV. The Universal Championship will be up for defence after a long time. There’s no need to emphasise on the fact that how boring this championship reign has been for the fans.
But the part-time schedule of Brock Lesnar did not allow the title to be relevant on the flagship show. Despite what the situation is, there’s no doubt of how big attraction the champion is on any given day. So this match at Summerslam will be the main event of the night. The current reports suggest the officials will decide the outcome just hours before the contest.

It’s worth to note that WWE fans have a tremendous amount of hatred towards Brock Lesnar for not showing up. They don’t deserve to have a champion who does not respect them at all. But the WWE creative might keep the belt around his waist to make him a two-sport champion. It will be a one-of-a-kind occasion in pro-wrestling history.
Joe Peisich gave an update on this scenario on the Barnburner’s Fired Up podcast. He confirmed that a closed-door meeting would take place with Brock Lesnar being in there. McMahon and family should supervise it deciding what future holds for the beast incarnate. It will have a fallout on the outcome of the Summerslam main event. Check out the updates from the source, (via Ringsidenews.com),
“Apparently Sunday around 4 o’clock, Brock Lesnar will have a closed-door meeting with the head honchos, maybe Stephanie, Triple H, Vince, or whatever. I don’t know what that meeting’s about. But, if he retains the title, you can expect Brock Lesnar will be working for both WWE and UFC.”
“He is having, and I’ve been told this by three sources, he’s having a closed-door meeting with the head honchos of WWE hours before his matchup with Roman Reigns at SummerSlam.”

WWE might hate to believe this, but Brock Lesnar stands the more significant chance to win the Summerslam Universal Championship match. It will make a way where he could become a WWE and UFC champion at the same time. A situation like this has never happened before this which would garner massive attention from the sports world.
Plus, WWE can continue a lucrative deal with the UFC that will hand them over a big amount of money. So it does not matter what the fans want in this context. Roman Reigns is not a guaranteed winner in this match either. Instead, we should prepare our mind to see the championship run for Brock Lesnar to continue for a long time.
