WWE Universe had a complete bitter feeling about Goldberg following The Super ShowDown PPV event in June. He was about to deliver a dream match against The Undertaker in the Saudi Arabia event that turned out to be a nightmare for both the legends. Things went worse for the former WCW legend who knocked himself out hitting a ring post and thereby making the contest a total botch-feast.

Thankfully, Goldberg was able to remove the bitter feeling of the fans in recent times by appearing in a program at Summerslam. He came back earning huge cheers from the fans to squash Dolph Ziggler within a few minutes. It must have been set up the way for more returns for the legendary superstars shortly. Even recent reports also suggested the same.

According to Brad Shepard, Saudi Arabia officials have requested WWE to book Goldberg for another PPV event. The next show in their country happens in October which means he may be part of another main event. This does not come as a surprise since the original deal back in May proposed that the WWE Hall of Famer would compete in multiple matches in Saudi Arabia even after the matchup against The Undertaker.

Here’s more from a carried report via wwfoldschool.com on plans for Goldberg,

“According to The Dirty Sheets, WWE was said to be “all in” on Goldberg’s return (before The Undertaker match) and Goldberg agreed to work three consecutive WWE PPVs in Saudi Arabia for a total amount of $6 million.”

The next for Goldberg was always set for the October PPV in Saudi Arabia. He would have teamed up with “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns to take on the team of the “Best In The World” Shane McMahon and a partner of his choosing. Following this, the plan was to book a WWE Championship match between Goldberg and Roman Reigns at the May/June 2020 Saudi Arabia PPV. Any one of them could be the WWE Champion heading into this match.

With Smackdown moving into FOX Sports from October 4th onwards, there could be big changes into the set plans of Goldberg does return to work in more matches. A program featuring The Myth against the franchise player of the WWE could have been interesting. But it’s uncertain whether the feedback will be positive from the fans on this. We have to wait for sometimes to know more about this. Perhaps the big reunion on Smackdown 20th anniversary might shed some lights on the future planning.
