Smackdown has the upper hand for the MITB buildup currently. They have delivered impactful episodes in the recent pasts, whereas, Raw failed to do the same.
We have seen multiple such dud episodes of the show ever since Backlash PPV. We hope to look at the tradition to change in the upcoming edition.
Meanwhile, the show-runner of Smackdown came up with a huge announcement for this upcoming episode. Paige is the general manager of the show who let us knew about a huge contract signing. It will take place over the WWE Championship match at the Money in the Bank PPV event.
We do know that Smackdown announced a rematch between these two a few weeks ago. Nakamura chose the stipulation for this match to be a Last Man Standing match.
It will be their third PPV-bout and fifth overall meeting inside the WWE ring. Paige wants to ensure things go down smooth between them.
Home, but always working for #SDLive. This Tuesday, we will sign the contract for the #WWEChampionship match at #MITB…and I will be PERSONALLY overseeing it. pic.twitter.com/LeKfG0LQmH

So she announced that these two would have to sign a contract. The match will not be official until both men put their signatures on the paper on this Tuesday Night.
Paige will preside over things in this segment herself. The official figures do officiate things in this kind of sessions.
Paige has been an extremely busy general manager since becoming the GM figure. She did a tremendous job in her new post.
We received the big news from her over on Twitter when Paige was relaxing. She claimed to be always working in her authority post. She wanted to ensure everything between Styles and Nakamura should settle smoothly, (courtesy stillrealtous.com),
“There’s been a lot words; there’s been a lot of kicks, there’s been a lot of low blows. So to make sure their match goes as smoothly as possible I’ve come up with an idea where I will be personally moderating a personal sitdown contract signing between both of them.”

Paige is medically unfit to compete inside the ring. Her presence inside the ring suggests there will be no physical contact between the two male superstars.
The GM falls under the “do not touch under any conditions due to a neck injury” category. This Smackdown segment should be all verbal following this hint.
