The uncertainty with Paige’s career in WWE is increasing day by day. She was supposed to be going all right with the company gradually after her first suspension was over. But now that she was handed the second suspension, things got complicated once again and her future is in serious jeopardy, as of now.
We have not heard or seen her in a while until she visited New York City with her boyfriend, Alberto Del Rio and faced the camera for the very first time. TMZ caught them and they candidly answered about their current status and what future holds for them.
Del Rio was all excited after being elected as the new president for the Combat Americans promotion which is the number two Mixed Martial Arts promotion just after UFC. They are likely to utilize a veteran wrestler that Del Rio is and he is very happy with the fact that he will be sharing his experience there.
The Mexican Aristocrat also revealed the possibility of joining TNA wrestling promotion if they offer him more money. He has expressed the desire to join there but that did happen since they were not willing to pay him what he wanted. Recently, he spoke to ESPN regarding this and said, “I have other friends like Damien and Cody Rhodes. I’m just looking forward to doing an appearance with them pretty soon.”
He will be exploring the Indi scenes until then. While speaking about a possible WWE return, he rejected the possibility. He is supportive though towards Paige whose contract is intact with the company till 2019. Paige did not talk much to the interviewer and want to give any comments regarding WWE since she is already in trouble. As of now, she will be busy nagging her sensitive neck injury for the next 6 or 7 months and is not hopeful at all with her WWE return.
