Apparently, Cesaro is not the only one superstar who does not seem happy with the brand split. The list also consists of the couple who is rumored to be broke up. We are talking about Paige and Del Rio who looks seemingly lost with this new mix of superstars and thinking of quitting WWE.
As per a report from ringtalkk.com, after Del Rio now it’s time for Paige who is thinking of giving up on the biggest wrestling promotion in the world. Paige has not been seen in the title picture since her feud with Charlotte got over at last year’s TLC PPV. One of the most technically gifted athletes in the Women’s division has been given the jobber role by WWE, since then.
Paige was a lower pick in the whole WWE Draft which gave her a lot of frustration. Furthermore, she and Del Rio both expressed their disgust over the fact that they were drafted to different brands. As per previous reports, The WWE Draft split up the couple’s workplace officially and that is supposed to be the deciding factor behind the couple’s break-up. It is rumored since their schedule from now on will be totally different, they both agreed to call their complete relationship a quit.
Paige’s current contract with WWE is likely to be over in 2017 and if the brand split does not help the so-called anti-Diva of the roster, she will find a better stable for her. All WWE needs to do is to focus more on her in-ring agility rather that treating her as the “Total Divas” reality star.
The British Diva had captured the attention of the WWE Universe the day he debuted, toppling the number one Diva in the industry at that time, AJ Lee. Her carefree behavior and the English accent had stolen the hearts of millions of fans. Her in-ring ability is undoubtedly world-class whereas she is a natural heel for the women’s division. She had gone on to become a two-time Divas champion since then. It will be a complete waste of talent for WWE if Paige indeed gets released by the company in near future.
