Paige was last seen performing in a WWE ring in June 2016. On her last appearance, she paired up with Sasha Banks to take on the team of Charlotte Flair and Dana Brooke. Since then, she was out of action from the in-ring competition owing to a neck injury.
Furthermore, she also faced suspensions twice for not attending the routine checkups of the WWE. Although she was completely gone from the company after these incidents, nothing could have toppled her from being the headliner of the pro-wrestling community. Be it a private media leak or altercations with boyfriend, Del Rio or the recent domestic battery incident, she has always been in the limelight during this span.

However, being a pro-wrestler, she does wish to come back to do what she does best that is competing inside the ring. WWE fans asked for a long time about her status and recently she clarified that she will make a WWE return, sooner.
In addition, in a recent public appearance, Paige also hinted the approximate schedule of her return which is much anticipated. Alongside Del Rio, the former Divas Champion attended the Malik Rose Bowling Tournament in San Antonio, Texas. It was a fundraiser event for the Salvation Army’s Emergency Family Shelter and the couple was honoured to do so.

They did have a meet and greet sessions with the fans where Chelsey Hernandez from Kens 5 caught up with the anti-Diva of the WWE and asked straight about her return. Paige was unable to give any particular date. However, she is keeping her fingers crossed to get back to WWE TV within two months. But, before that, she had to be passed by the WWE Doctors. These were her actual comments:
‘Hopefully within the next couple of months, fingers crossed! Now I have to get cleared by WWE doctors.’
Ever since she is gone, her presence was missed on the Raw women’s division. Her inclusion is needed badly to add some variety to the roster, as early as possible.
