WWE News: Paige successfully undergoes neck surgery 1

As reported earlier, Paige was scheduled to undergo surgery on Wednesday night. We have not received any further update regarding the same until the Diva herself started posting on her twitter handle. So, it’s now confirmed that the youngest WWE Divas champion in the history of the company has undergone a successful neck surgery.

She wrote on Twitter, “surgery went well. The hernia was bigger than expected and my neck was straightened now this girl has 3 screws in her neck”. She also mentioned that her boyfriend, Alberto Del Rio was around her during this tough time making her feeling special.
WWE Diva, Natalya visited Paige and hence she thanked her by calling her a “real friend.”

As seen on the Twitter posts, Paige has to strengthen her neck with three screws which means she will be out of action for at least six to nine months. The injury is much similar to that of Nikki Bella, earlier this year. She too had to fix the neck with the screws and hence was out for almost eight months since the surgery.
It’s still not understandable why WWE was not giving green signal to the surgery despite her legit concussions. Paige has taken the right decision to fix the issue permanently since she has to be back into the squared circle with one hundred percent fitness.
However, it is still not clear if WWE would pay her for this surgery or not since she has gone against them. She will also not be paid one-fourth of her annual salary for being suspended three months in the company during her two suspensions. Meanwhile, we expect some more updates and pictures of the surgery from the Diva, as promised by her on Twitter.
