WWE News: Paige to Host a Female Summit Next Week on Smackdown Live 1

Paige is the current general manager of Smackdown Live. She got the role following this year’s Wrestlemania.

We thought her role in the WWE is over after announcing the retirement. She informed the same to us on the post-Mania episode in New Orleans. It was the same place she started her wrestling career in the WWE. It turned out to be the same place where her career came to an end as well.

A fatal neck injury is a reason why this happened to her. But WWE did not want to lose a name like her all of a sudden. She can be a great attraction on televised episodes. Hence we received her in a brand new form the very next night. Shane McMahon took her under his wings to make her the new GM of the show.

She has done justice to the role ever since getting the appointment. We see her on each week’s Smackdown Live making important decisions and matches. She presided over a WWE Championship contract signing this week. It happened between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura over the WWE Championship.

Paige has another important role to make the final hype-up for the MITB ladder match. The women’s division matchup should be her focus since she has been part of the women’s revolution at one point. We know she is a two-time Divas Champion and one of the all-time great female wrestlers.

So, the GM has made a proper arrangement for the same. She will preside things over for a women’s division summit on next week’s Smackdown. Four women from the blue brand will compete in the MITB ladder match. They will be present during this segment.

Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Lana, and Naomi are the four women who have qualified for this opportunity. All of them will get the final opportunity to make the final statement before heading into the matchup.

Becky Lynch and Naomi have the momentums currently, as they have won their respective matchups this week.

We expect the segment to end in chaos. It will be able to give a preview of the upcoming ladder match among them. WWE Raw has announced a fatal-four-way for the four women participants from their side.

Paige encountered this move with another effective move. We hope this is going to be quite an interesting segment on next week’s edition.
