We witnessed a travesty when Brock Lesnar attacked Paul Heyman on WWE Raw two weeks ago. Fans could barely believe their eyes when the Universal Champion turned on against his own advocate. These two have been together for almost two decades and shares quite a strong bond. We could not see this coming to an abrupt end just a few nights before Summerslam.
Last week, Paul Heyman denied commenting on the situation in an interview on WWE Raw. He talked about being unaware of his status with Brock Lesnar. Plus, he put a bait in front of Roman Reigns. As per his comments, the Big Dog can only win the Summerslam title match only if he makes an ally with Heyman.
This definitely sounded interesting to the WWE Universe. So they greeted Roman Reigns in Greensboro with big reactions. The Guy was out to cut a promo in his yard. He went a little too far from PG comments stating that Brock Lesnar would have his head stuck in Dana White’s ass. The promo was about to continue a little further when Paul Heyman came out.
He continued about targeting the next client under his wings who is none other than Roman Reigns. We could not believe our ears when the Human Walrus uttered the following, “Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman and I am the advocate for the reigning, defending, undisputed Universal Champion, Roman Reigns!”
Paul Heyman intended to say the same once Summerslam passes by. He handed a piece of paper to Roman Reigns to fool him. He took out a pepper spray while Reigns got busy to see it. The cunning wrestling promoter hurriedly spread those in Reigns’ eyes to make him almost blind.
Brock Lesnar came out to the ring all of a sudden. The host venue did not advertise him on the show at all! Before the crowd could get over the shock, he choked out Roman Reigns with a Guillotine choke-hold. He finished his attack after delivering a huge F-5. The contender was nearly senseless and lied down inside the ring. Doctors came out to carry him out of the show.
