Roman Reigns deserves to be in the Universal Championship picture. Many of the fans and critics believe in him. He received another shot to the beast despite the devastating loss at Wrestlemania.

At the Greatest Royal Rumble PPV event, he met the reigning champion inside a steel cage over the title.

He put up a through resistance to the champion encountering the F5s and suplexes. The finishing witnessed Roman Reigns delivering a spear on Brock Lesnar through the steel cage. They both landed on the floor at the same time.

From the initial footages, it was clear the Big Dog was the first to land both feet on the mat. According to the rules of a steel cage match, this should give him the win. But, the referee favoured the Conqueror helping him to retain his title. It automatically should give the franchise player a rematch.

Furthermore, Roman Reigns defeated Samoa Joe in their singles bout at Backlash. It gave him the lost spot on the roster. However, Lesnar is absent from the scene, for now, and the chances are less the Samoan blood will get a solid opponent against him. It was hinted by a reliable source, as well.

According to the reports of cagesideseats.com, Jinder Mahal vs Roman Reigns might continue for a long time. It is being advertised throughout the entire June-July season, as per the current advertisements of the company. So, this ongoing feud will continue for a long time.

Check out the update from sportskeeda.com,

“A report from Cageside Seats suggests that Roman Reigns’ program with Jinder Mahal may not end anytime soon. The Big Dog is scheduled to work Live Events with Mahal through July. Unfortunately, Reigns probably won’t get a better opponent until Summerslam.”

We have seen this feud starting on the post-Backlash episode. Roman Reigns was competing in a qualifier match against Sami Zayn and Finn Balor. Mahal appeared out of nowhere to cost him the match when he was on the verge of winning the contest. Now, these two will fight it out for the entire summer season.
