One of the most physical rivalries in the WWE is in the progress, right now as Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman is trying to destroy each other, every single week. This will culminate a match at WWE Fastlane on tonight. The PPV will be the last one before Wrestlemania which will be hosted by the BMO Bradley Harris Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The rivalry between these two started back at the Royal Rumble PPV where Strowman caused Reigns the Universal championship match against Kevin Owens. This past week on Raw, Strowman stood tall to put down the Big Dog just like the previous weeks hinting that he might come up victorious winning the bout which is supposed be a grueling one.
But, it looks like that WWE creative still has not made up their mind as who would emerge victorious at Fastlane. As per reports from cagesideseats.com, both of them are scheduled to be put over ahead of the Wrestlemania season. So, they do not want anyone of them to get pinned before the last PPV which will set up the lineups for Wrestlemania.
Both these individuals are set to get big singles matches at Wrestlemania and hence it is likely that neither one of them will digest a loss via pinfall or submission. Rather, WWE is planning a disqualification or no contest ending between them.
Strowman will punish Reigns for the better part of the match since the beginning. The Big Dog will fight back in due course and take the upper-hand. When it will look that Reigns might pick up the win, the Undertaker is supposed to interfere to cause the inevitable DQ.
This is to set up the planned Reigns vs. Undertaker match at this year’s Wrestlemania whereas Strowman will move on to a next opponent or be put into the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. The push for him will continue during the Wrestlemania season and he is the most favorite to win the battle royal match, this year.
